The Power clinched the Central Division title with a win over the Wisconsin Woodsmen on Friday and added the team’s 35th win of the season over the Wausau Cyclones in Wausau on Saturday.
Friday the Power traveled to Tomah and came away with a 6-2 win, giving them 72 points, enough to clinch the division. Jozef Silhar got thing started just 22 seconds into the game with his fourth goal of the season off a Michael Maillette (4) assist for the only scoring in the period. It was Silhar who struck again less than 30 seconds into the second period to extend the lead to 2–0. Silhar was assisted by Kelly Coldwater (17) and Drew Sparacino (20). The Woodsmen were able to quickly answer for their first goal of the night, but the Power responded three more times in the period. Quinn O’Connor lit the lamp twice (10,11) and Tommy Kundinger scored his 10th goal of the season in the period. Odin Klebba (19,20) assisted on both O’Connor goals, Kelly Coldwater (18) assisted on O’Connor’s first tally and Tommy Kundinger (14) on his second goal. Jackson Hoem (24) assisted on the Kundinger goal. Tomah was able to answer again but couldn’t cut the lead any further. Jackson Hoem scored his 29th goal of the season at 8:09 of the third period for the eventual final. Adam Prokop earned the victory in the Power net, stopping 20/22 Woodsmen shots on goal. The Power had 33 shots on goal.
Saturday the Power was on the road again for the final game of the regular season, this time to Wausau to take on the Cyclones and came away with a dominating 7-1 victory, securing the 35th win on the season.
The Cyclones got on the board first, scoring the period’s only goal at 5:16 of the first, which proved to be the Cyclones only goal of the night. The Power came out with a surge in the second period, scoring 5 times. Danny Jurcich (10) started the scoring at 16:36 off assists from Kelly Coldwater (19) and Brayden Graning (17). Graning then scored a goal of his own, his 9th of the season at 10:51 off a Lucca Weinkauf (21) assist. Jace Fitzgerald scored the Power’s third goal at 9:00 off assists from Coldwater (20) and Brody Josselyn (22). Jackson Hoem scored his 30th goal of the season at 8:33 off a Blake Mitchell (18) assist, and Evan Burchardt scored his fourth goal of the season at 7:17 off assists from Graning (18) and Tommy Kundinger (16) to round out the scoring for a 5-1 lead after two periods of play. The Power wasn’t finished yet, adding two more goals in the third period. Odin Klebba scored his 7th goal of the season at 18:41 off an Evan Burchard (1) assist and then Burchardt scored a goal of his own off assists from Weinkauf (22) and Hunter O’Neal (7) for the 7-1 final. Connor Doyle earned the victory in the Power net, stopping 12/13 Cyclones shots on goal. The Power had 36 shots on goal.

The Power is the number one seed in the Central Division and will host the Wisconsin Woodsmen in the first round of the Fraser Cup playoffs on Thursday, March 13 at 6:30pm at Kettle Moraine Ice Center, sponsored by Thrivent Financial. The first 250 fans will receive a free Power mug. Playoff t-shirts will be on sale to help offset team playoff expenses. There will be a pre-game Fish Fry with the Great Outdoors Supper Club starting at 4:30pm. Cost of the Fish Fry is $12/2 pieces, $15/3 pieces and includes fried cod, French fries, coleslaw and rye bread so get to the rink and enjoy dinner before the game. The Power will travel to Tomah on Friday to take on the Woodsmen at 7:15pm. Game three, if necessary, will be at Kettle Moraine Ice Center on Saturday, March 15 at 8:00pm. The Power will remain the top seed in the playoffs if they advance in the first round and will take on the winner of the Rochester-Wausau series in Round 2 of the Fraser Cup Playoffs. The Power would host games on Friday, March 20 at 7:30pm and Sunday, March 22 (if necessary) at noon. They would travel to Rochester or Wausau on Saturday, March 21 for game two of the series.
