The Power picked up 4 points in the standings after sweeping the Wausau Cyclones at Kettle Moraine Ice Center, allowing just one goal in two games, with a 3-0 win Friday and 5-1 victory Saturday.
Friday the Power’s defense and goaltending stood up the challenge of keeping the Cyclone offense in check and handed them their first shutout of the season. The Power held the visitors to 0/5 on the power play and Power goaltender Adam Prokop stopped all 29 Cyclone shots on goal. The Power scored once each period. Tommy Kundinger got the Power on the board at 9:35 of the first period with his fourth goal of the season off assists from Lucca Weinkauf (7) and Teagan Scheurer (11).
