The Power picked up 2026 where they left off in 2025…scoring goals and winning games. The Power defeated the Wausau Cyclones in both games of the home and away series, improving to 27-2-1-1 with 56 points in first place in the Central Division.
Friday, the packed house at Kettle Moraine Ice Center was treated to an extra period of hockey, as it took overtime for the Power to secure the 4-3 victory and keep the “undefeated on home ice” streak alive. The Power’s scoring started early when Armani Fisher scored his 10th goal of the season just 38 seconds into the game. Fisher was assisted by Shaun Paulson (8) and Evan Burchardt (12). Blake Kohnen (8) scored a power play goal at 8:32 of the first off assists from Danny Jurcich (23) and Drew Sparacino(21) for a 2-0 lead after the first period of play. The only goal in the second period was a Wausau power play goal at 19:05 for a 2-1 Power lead after two periods of play. The Cyclones tied it up at 14:42 of the third period and took the lead on a power play goal at 7:15, but Quinn O’Connor was able to bury the equalizer on a power play goal at 3:50 off assists from Drew Sparacino (22) and Elijah Covey (9) to force overtime. Nathan Antti, in his NA3HL and Power debut, played the hero in overtime, scoring at 3:52 to seal the victory, keeping the Power undefeated on home ice this season. Antti was assisted by Jace Fitzgerald (19) and Drew Sparacino (23).
Sam Ahl earned the victory in the Power net, stopping 25 of 28 Wausau shots. The Power had 39 shots on goal.
Saturday the Power traveled to Marathon Park and came away with a commanding 7-2 victory. Brody Josselyn started the scoring at 5:20 of the first period off an Adam Sexton assist. Wausau tied the game with 2:30 remaining in the period for a 1-1 score after the first period of play. The Cyclones took the lead just 16 seconds into the second period, but after that, it was all Power. Otis Berge scored twice in the second period at 16:53 unassisted and at 12:48 assisted by Cole Craft (5). Quinn O’Connor scored at power play goal at 9:03 and Drew Sparacino scored at 6:17 off a Danny Jurcich (26) assist for a 5-2 lead after two periods of play. Jace Fitzgerald (21) scored at 16:22 of the third period off assists from Blake Kohnen (23) and Drew Sparacino (25) and Elias Holan scored with 29 seconds remaining off a Hunter O’Neal (7) assist for the 7-2 final. Ben Knutson earned the victory in the Power net, stopping 28/30 Cyclones shots on goal. The Power had 25 shots on goal.
The Palermo’s Screamin’ Sicilian Three Stars of the Game were third star Blake Kohnen, second star Danny Jurcich and first star Nathan Antti. The Versi-foam Hard Hat Hardest Worker of the Game was Shaun Paulson.

The Power will host the Rochester Grizzlies in a mid-week battle on Wednesday night, January 7 at Kettle Moraine Ice Center. This is a make-up game from the Thanksgiving weekend snowstorm cancellation. The game will be a 7:00pm start and it Youth Hockey Night; all youth hockey players get in free. The Power will then host the Wisconsin Woodsmen on Friday, January 9 in a one-game series for Washington County Humane Society Night sponsored by Pet Supplies Plus West Bend.
