The Power and Grizzlies faced off for the 5th and 6th time this season and split the series, each visiting team taking home the win. Friday the Grizzlies won 5-2 at Kettle Moraine Ice Center and Saturday the Power rebounded strong to beat Rochester 5-0 at the Rochester Recreation Center. After this weekend, the Power remains in second place in the Central Division with 31 points. The Grizzlies moved into third place in the Central with 26 points.
Friday neither team was able to find the back of the net in the first period. The second period the Grizzlies scored twice with goals from Mason Decker and assists from Noah Gillette and Mason Black for a 2-0 lead for the visitors after two periods of play. Adam Sexton, in his first game with the Power got the home team on the board at 15:45 of the third period with his first NA3HL goal. He was assisted by Oliver Schroeder (12) and Trace Shumlas (1). Rochester answered at 14:30 to keep it a 2 goal lead. Hunter O’Neal, with a beautiful deflection scored his first NA3HL goal at 7:12 to bring the Power within a goal. He was assisted by Grant Schaible (7) and Drew Garipay (5). Rochester answered again at 6:30 and then sealed the victory with an empty net goal at 1:18. Both teams had 30 shots on goal. Ben Glaesman took the loss in the Power net.
Saturday the Power took the road in the home and away series and they bounced back in dominating fashion. Jace Fitzgerald in his first game back after spending time in the NAHL with the Wisconsin Windigo, got the Power on the board with a shorthanded goal at 8:23 of the first period. He was assisted by Oliver Schroeder (13) for the only scoring in the period. Trace Shumlas scored his first goal as a Power at 14:53 of the second off assists from Fitzgerald (14) and Tommy Kundinger (8). Mike Sobaski extended the lead to 3 at 1:00 with his sixth goal of the year off assists from Teagan Scheurer (13) and Jackson Hoem (12). Jackson Hoem quickly got the third period scoring started, just 34 seconds in with his 16th goal of the season. Hoem was assisted by Teagan Scheurer (13). Mike Sobaski tallied his second goal of the night at 12:07 off assists from Lucca Weinkauf (8) and Teagan Scheurer (15), his third assist of the game, for the eventual 5-0 win. Adam Prokop got the shutout in the Power net, his second of the season in 3 appearances stopping 23/23 Rochester shots on goal. The Power had 39 shots on goal.

The Power will hit the road to Alexandria, MN to face the Alexandria Blizzard of West Division Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7 at the Runestone Community Center. Both games are at 7:10pm and will be broadcast on NA TV.
