The Power hits the road this weekend with KB Excursions to travel to St. Louis to take on the Jr. Blues in a Saturday-Sunday match up. Saturday’s game is at 3:30pm and Sunday’s puck drop is 11:40am at Affton Ice Rink. This will be the first meeting in St. Louis this season and the 5th and 6th games played against the Jr. Blues. The Power faced St. Louis in two series at Kettle Moraine Ice Center in West Bend. Three of the four games were decided in overtime, one in a shootout, with the Power victorious in 3 of the 4 games.
The Power currently sits in first place in the Central Division at 21-7-2-0 and 44 points in 30 games played. The Jr. Blues are fifth in the Central Division at 12-12-3-1 with 28 points in 28 games played.
The Power is coming off an “off” weekend and the Jr. Blues are coming off a weekend with West Division Mason City Toros where they dropped both games.
The Power is led in scoring by Jackson Hoem with 34 points and Teagan Scheurer with 26 points. Leading scorer Jace Fitzgerald has been called up to the Minnesota Mallards of the NAHL. The Jr. Blues are led in scoring by Mason Andrew with 22 points and Eric Denny with 20 points.
“We’re excited to get back to work and play some games after a weekend off. St. Louis has proven to be a tough test for us this season, so we need to be prepared and play our best hockey,” said Power Head Coach Jason Woods.
Both games this weekend will be broadcast on NA TV.

Saturday is NICU night benefitting the Ronald McDonald House and March of Dimes sponsored by Kewaskum Family Dentistry. Both games are at 7:30pm and will have pre-game meals available from the Great Outdoors Supper Club. Friday is Spaghetti/Lasagna Night and Saturday is Supper Club night featuring choice of prime rib and ham with baked potato and veggies.
