The Power hits the road again this weekend, traveling to Rochester for the second time this season to take on the first place Grizzlies.
The Power currently sits in fourth place in the Central Division with a 9-8-1-1 record and 20 points.
Patrick Toomey continues to be the offensive spark for the Power, leading the team with 26 points (15 goals, 11 assists) followed by Max Erstad with 13 points and Bryce Garber with 11. Toomey earned the NA3HL’s Top play of the Week last week for one of his goals against the Jr. Blues in St. Louis
The Power is expected to split games in net between Adam Prokop (6-3-1-1, 2.63 GA, 0.923 SV%) and Spencer Northway who has returned from a month stint with the Des Moines Buccaneers in the USHL.
Rochester is led in scoring by Spencer Klotz, Luke Sawicky and Lyncoln Bielenberg-Horwath.
“The boys need to work hard, play with confidence and put the puck in the net. This weekend will prove to be another test for us and we’re looking to perform well against a good Rochester team.” said Power Head Coach, Assistant General Manager John Mitchell.
Both games are at 7:05 at the Rochester Recreation Center and will be broadcast on Hockey TV.
