The West Bend Power will travel back to Rochester, Minnesota, this weekend to take on the Rochester Grizzlies for the second time this season in a Friday-Saturday series at the Rochester Recreation Center.
The two teams met to open the 2026-27 season, with Rochester earning a 3-2 shootout victory. The Power picked up one point in the loss to begin the season.
West Bend enters the weekend after sweeping the Peoria Mustangs last weekend, winning 6-3 on Friday before shutting out Peoria 4-0 on Saturday. The Power are now 2-0-1 with five points on the season.
Rochester remains undefeated at 3-0 with six points after sweeping the Wausau Cyclones last weekend.
SCORING LEADERS
The Power are led offensively by Ivan Schmitz, who has five points through three games. Adam Sexton and Shaun Paulson have four points each.
Rochester is led by Jace Jordan with six points, followed by Konnor Goclan with four points.
SPECIAL TEAMS
West Bend has been strong on the penalty kill early in the season, successfully killing off 100% of its shorthanded opportunities against Rochester’s 75%.
The Power also hold the advantage on the power play, converting at 21.45%, while Rochester enters the weekend at 9.09%.
BETWEEN THE PIPES
The Power have split goaltending duties through the first three games.
Jacob Iallanardo has posted a .966 save percentage and 0.968 goals-against average, while Robin Sejba has a .8571 save percentage and 3.00 goals-against average.
Rochester has also split time between its goaltenders. Christian Hill enters the weekend with a .9643 save percentage and 1.00 goals-against average, while Cameron Patrick has a .9123 save percentage and 2.40 goals-against average.
