Weekend Preview – Power on the road to Wausau

Sep 25, 2025

The Power will be on the road this weekend as they travel to Wausau to take on the Cyclones in a Friday-Saturday match up at Marathon Park.

The Power is 3-1 to start the season and the Cyclones are 2-0.  The Power is coming off a split with the St. Louis Jr. Blues and Wausau is coming off a sweep of the Wisconsin Woodsmen.

The Power is led in scoring by Jace Fitzgerald and Danny Jurcich with 7 points each and Brody Josselyn, who tallied 4 points in his return to the Power last weekend against St. Louis.  Drew Sparacino and Drew Sysko have three points each, and twelve other Power players have points on the board for the Power in the early season.  The Power leads the division with 26.67% on the power play, scoring 4 power play goals and is 88% on the penalty kill.

Wausau, who opened up their season last weekend in Tomah, is led in scoring by Eli Hofman with 5 points and Jackson Schroeder with 4 points. Five other Cyclones tallied 3 points in the opening series. Wausau is projected to split time between Brady Faille and Tanner Bonjernoor in net this weekend.

As the team continues to mesh and acclimate to playing together, the Power will look to bounce back from their loss in St. Louis while building on the momentum from their comeback win in Game 2 against the Jr. Blues. ” We’re looking to continue our bounce back from last weekend.  We’re excited to play in Wausau’s home opener, as it will be a packed house. It will be a good test for our rookies to play in this type of environment.  It should be a fun weekend,” said Power Associate Head Coach/General Manager Jeremy Ebert.

Puck drop both nights is at 7:10pm and games will be broadcast on NA TV.
