Oct 17, 2024

The Power will hit the road this weekend for a single game against the Rochester Grizzlies Friday, October 18, 7:05pm at the Rochester Recreation Center.

The Power currently sits in second place in the Central Division with 12 points and the Grizzlies are just one point behind, sitting in third place.  The Power is coming off a sweep of the Peoria Mustangs 8-1 and 7-0 and the Grizzlies are coming off a weekend split with two West Division teams.  The Grizzlies lost 3-2 to the Granite City Lumberjacks and beat the Alexandria Blizzard 4-3.  The teams split the opening weekend of the season, the Power won game one 1-0 and Rochester took game two, 2–1.

Jackson Hoem leads the Power in points (13) and goals (7).  Jace Fitzgerald has 10 points on the season.  Mike Sobaski has 7 points.  Lucca Weinkauf has tallied 4 goals on the season and Oliver Schroeder has tallied 6 assists.  The Power has split goaltending duties between 4 goalies.  Ben Glasemen leads the group with 3 wins.  Sam Siepert had a shutout in his first NA3HL start last weekend against the Mustangs.

Andrew Lahaie leads the Grizzlies in scoring with 7 points. Four players each have 6 points.  Gabe Otis leads the Rochester netminders with 2 wins and a 0.9385 SV% and 1.345 GAA.

“We want to build off the efforts and momentum from last weekend.  We look forward to facing the Grizzlies again this weekend, as both previous games were one goal games, so we know it will be a battle.  We need to be prepared to play our best hockey,” said Power Associate Head Coach/General Manager Jeremy Ebert.

The game will be broadcast on NA TV.
