Weekend Preview – Power hosts Wisconsin Woodsmen in weekend series

The Power will host the Wisconsin Woodsmen at the Kettle Moraine Ice Center this Friday and Saturday, February 21-22.  Friday is Billet Appreciation Night sponsored by Kewaskum Family Dentistry and SportClips.  Saturday is Fan Appreciation Night/Skate with the Power sponsored by DNA Hemp.  The first 500 fans will receive a free Power team photo on Saturday.  All fans will receive free raffle tickets for a chance to win great prizes. There will be giveaways throughout the night.  Fans can bring their own skates or rent for free at KMIC and skate with the Power players after the game.  Pre-game meals will be available both nights from the Great Outdoors Supper Club. Friday is Mexican Night.  For $10 you’ll get three tacos, chips and rice.  Saturday is Mac-and-Cheese Bar for $15 you’ll get mac and cheese with choice of chicken, pork or beef. 

The Power is coming off a two-game losing streak after dropping a pair to the Wausau Cyclones last weekend.   The Wisconsin Woodsmen are coming off a split with the St. Louis Jr Blues.  The Power sits in first place in the Central Division with 62 points at 29-8-2-2 and the Woodsmen are in fourth place with 49 points at 21-13-4-3.  The teams have met 5 times to date this season with the Power winning 3 of the 5 games.  

The Power will look to get back in the win column this weekend as they shoot for home ice advantage in the playoffs. “We’re looking forward to being in front of our fans as we look to bounce back from last weekend.  Definitely looking to see us have more energy than last time out.  This is a great opportunity to see how we react to some adversity as we haven’t experiences much recently,” said Power Head Coach Jason Woods.

Both games are at 7:30pm will be broadcast on NA TV.
