Weekend Preview – Power host St. Louis

The West Bend Power welcomes the St. Louis Jr. Blues to the Kettle Moraine Ice Center for a two-game match up Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm.  Friday is youth hockey night and Saturday is Skate with the Power sponsored by Kewaskum Family Dentistry.  Youth hockey players wearing their jerseys get in free both nights.  Saturday fans can bring skates or rent them for free and skate with the Power players after the game.  Friday is Shrimp Boil Night with the Great Outdoors Supper Club.  For $20/plate you’ll get shrimp, red potatoes, corn on the cob and cornbread.  Saturday is Soup Night. Choices include chili, broccoli cheddar, chicken dumpling and cream of mushroom.  $4/cup, $7/bowl, $10 flight.

The Power is 20-7-1-0 in first place in the Central Division with 28 games played at 41 points. The Jr. Blues are 11-10-3-0 in 24 games played with 25 points, sitting in fifth place in the Central Division.  The Power is coming off a 3-game winning streak at the NA3HL showcase.  The St. Louis Jr Blues went 3-0 at the showcase and split last weekend with the Peoria Mustangs.  This is the second series between the teams this season.  The Power is 2-0 over the Jr. Blues to date, with a 4-3 overtime win and a 5-2 victory in November at Kettle Moraine Ice Center.

The Power is led in scoring by Jackson Hoem, Teagan Scheurer and Jace Fitzgerald. The St. Louis Jr. Blues are led in scoring by Eric Denny, Joseph LoPiccolo and Mason Andrew.

“We’re excited to be back home at Kettle Moraine Ice Center.  It was nice to have a bit of a break, and now it’s time for our guys to come back together and just play our best hockey from here on out,” said Power Associate Head Coach, General Manger Jeremy Ebert.
