The Power will have an away and home game this weekend, taking on two different opponents. Friday the Power will travel back to Rochester for one game at the Rochester Recreation Center before returning home to Kettle Moraine Ice Center Saturday for a meeting with the Wausau Cyclones. Saturday’s Halloween Costume Contest and Trick or Treating is sponsored by Kohler Credit Union. All fans in costume get in free and can participate in a costume contest at first intermission. Pre-game food with the Great Outdoors Supper Club is Smash Burgers. Single for $6, double for $9 and side of fries for $3. Food and beverage service begin at 5:00pm.
The Power is coming off a sweep of the Grizzlies in Rochester. The Cyclones are coming off a sweep of the Peoria Mustangs in Wausau. The Power is 2-0 against both teams so far this season. The Power is 9-2-0-1 with 19 points in second place in the Central Division. The Grizzlies, having played 9 games are 5-4 with ten points in third place and Wausau 5-3 with ten points in 8 games tied for third place.
The Power is led in scoring by Jace Fitzgerald with 22 points (12 goals, 10 assists), Drew Sparacino with 17 points and Danny Jurcich with 14 points. The Grizzlies are led in scoring by Mason Decker with 16 points and the Cyclones are led in scoring by Jackson Schroeder with 13 points. The Power’s Elias Holan earned the Central Division Star of the Week last week for his 4 goal, one assist performance against Rochester while teammate Danny Jurcich earned Central Division Third Star of the Week.
“This weekend will be another challenge, and these are sure to be exciting matchups,” said Power Head Coach Jason Woods. “We’ll look to build off the momentum from last weekend while staying focused on the task at hand—one game at a time. Friday’s game in Rochester is at 7:00pm and Saturday’s puck drop at Kettle Moraine Ice Center is 7:30pm. Both games will be broadcast on NA TV.
