The Power will face the Wisconsin Woodsmen this weekend in a home and away series, Friday in Tomah (7:15 puck drop) and Saturday in West Bend at Kettle Moraine Ice Center.  Saturday’s game, sponsored by Game Day Men’s Health, is Black Out Night. Fans should wear all black to the game and will see the Power’s black away jerseys worn on home ice! Saturday is also WING NIGHT brought to you by the Great Outdoors Supper Club. Puck drop is 7:30pm. with food and bar service beginning at 5:00pm.

The Power, 3-2 overall (6 points), dropped the only game played so far against the Woodsmen on September 21 in Tomah, 5-3. The Woodsmen are 3-1-1-1 with 8 points in the Central Division standings. The Power is coming off an opening home weekend sweep of the Mason City Toros of the West Division, while the Woodsmen are coming off a 6-5 overtime loss and 3-2 loss against the Granite City Lumberjacks also of the West Division.

The Power stepped up its offense against the Toros, scoring 5 goals in each game.  Six different Power players tallied their first goals of the season.  Jace Fitzgerald led the way for the Power with 2 goals and 2 assists. Teagan Scheurer had a goal and 4 assists on the weekend.

The Power will look to continue its strong offensive efforts this weekend against the Woodsmen while playing smart, disciplined hockey.  “We need to get pucks to the net, go to right areas and win battles,” said Power Associate Head Coach/General Manager Jeremy Ebert. “We need to improve our power play and move puck a little faster while building off all the good things we did last weekend,” added Ebert.

Both games will be broadcast on NA TV.
