The Power finishes out the November home stand on Friday at Kettle Moraine Ice Center when they take on the Rochester Grizzlies at 7:30pm. They’ll travel to Rochester for Saturday’s match up at the Rochester Recreation Center with a 7:05pm puck drop. Friday is Stop Hunger Night at KMIC sponsored by Kewaskum Family Dentistry. Fans receive $5 admission with a donation of non-perishable food items benefitting the West Bend Full Shelf Food Pantry. The Great Outdoors Supper Club will be offering a pre-game Mac-n-cheese bar; $15 with your choice of pork, chicken or beef. Food and beverage service start at 5:00pm.
The Power is coming off a sweep of the Wausau Cyclones, giving up just one goal in two games. The Grizzlies are coming off a split with the Peoria Mustangs. The Power is in second place in the Central Division with 29 points and the Grizzlies are in fourth place with 24 points. This season the teams have faced each other four times to date, with the Grizzlies winning 3 of those 4 match ups and outscoring the Power 12 to 7 on total goals.
The Power is led in scoring by Jackson Hoem with 26 points followed by Teagan Scheurer with 18. The Grizzlies are led in scoring by Noah Joyce with 16 points.
The Power will look to build off the positives from the weekend against the Cyclones, where they were able to hold them to just 1/11 on the power play for the weekend, yet continue to improve as a team.
“Last week we had a few breakdowns in our D-zone and we’re looking to clean those up this weekend. This weekend will come down to how well we can keep our attitudes in check and how much our players want to sacrifice for each other to even the series up with Rochester,” said Power Associate Head Coach, General Manager Jeremy Ebert.
Both Friday’s game at Kettle Moraine Ice Center and Saturday’s game at the Rochester Recreation Center will be broadcast on NA TV.
