Scouting Department Hire

Feb 14, 2020

"I am excited to announce the hiring of Jake Palodichuk as the Milwaukee Power's North Central Scouting Director," said Power General Manager, Kevin Marion.

Jake comes to the Power as a Junior at Bemidji State University majoring in Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration.  He brings a knowledge of the Minnesota High School Hockey scene with him.  Additionally, he is pursuing a career in coaching hockey and multi-media marketing.  His brother Joe is a junior at St. Paul Hill-Murray High School, and is verbally committed to Coach Granato and the  Wisconsin Badgers for the 2021-22 season as a defensemen.

"Jake brings his connections from Minnesota, the Dakotas, Iowa, and Western Wisconsin that will pay dividends for us as we trend toward a full turnaround from our 2nd season in the NA3HL," said Marion.

"Hockey has been a part of my whole life and is something I truly enjoy.  Making that decision not to continue playing, but rather go to the business side of the sport is the best fit for me," said Palodichuk.

Marion said, "The Palodichuk family has a deep and vested interest in the growth of hockey in Minnesota, and it will be Jake's job to work with the families and players across the state and region to get them to Milwaukee and perform at their highest level.  We want our players to come here play and advance to their next level whatever that will be. I am extremely excited for Jake and this opportunity for him to grow and talk hockey with these players and families across the region for the Milwaukee Power, welcome aboard Jake!"
