Saturday the Mustangs struck first and early less than a minute into the game. Max Erstad tied it up on a power play wrap around goal at 6:52 of the first off of a Blake Keller assist to bring it to a 1-1 tie after one. The Power took a lead at 10:26 of the second when Blake Keller and Max Erstad assisted Mike Dalaly for the score. Peoria tied it up, but Bryce Garber gave the Power a 3-2 lead at the 12:38 mark off assists from Owen Drake and Connor O’Neal. It was Garber again in the third period scoring his second of the night which proved to be the game winner at 8:56. He was assisted by Blake Keller and Max Mudge. Adam Prokop secured his second win on the weekend with 39 saves.
