It was First Responders Weekend at the Ozaukee Ice Center as the Power and Tradesmen met for a two game series. On Friday afternoon Milwaukee would start Ewan McDevitt in net for his fourth game. He would stop 36 of the 40 shots he faced. The Power took the early lead off of a Max Erstad goal early in the 1st, with assists from Ben Cremers and Caleb Dusseau. Milwaukee would add another score before the end of the period from Cremers, assisted by Erstad and Garrett Alton. Midway though the second period the Power would strike again as Tyler Nelson scored, assisted by Mason Ausmus and Nate Stone. Milwaukee carried their three goal lead past the halfway point of the third period before being assessed a pair of major penalties. No penalties were called on Oregon resulting in a five on three Tradesmen power-play. Oregon would score four power-play goals to take the lead and set the final score. On Saturday Cole Shane would make his 13th start in net for Milwaukee. He would stop 23 of the 25 shots he faced. The Power would open the scoring again in the first after Ben Cope let a wrist shot go from the point off of a face-off win by Max Erstad. Milwaukee would score again just 38 seconds later on the power-play with a Teddy Marion goal off of a feed from Brady Rossbach, Devin Huie would get the secondary assist. The Power would strike again on the power-play as Nate Stone would bury a cross ice feed from Erstad, Cope would get the secondary assist. Milwaukee would keep up the scoring in the second frame with Erstad scoring his 9th goal of the season, assisted by Michael Dalaly and Stone. Dalaly would score just past the halfway point with a bouncing puck, Marion and Stone were credited with the assists. The Power would continue their run of goals in the third period on the power-play starting with Cope getting his second goal of the game, Erstad and Garrett Alton had the assists. On another power-play Stone would score his second goal and fourth point of the day, Dalaly and Mason Ausmus got the assists. With less then 10-minutes on the clock Oregon's offense would finally get on the board with two goals. Cole Shane earned his third win of the season.
