The West Bend Power have signed ‘08 defensemen Wyatt Church for the upcoming 2026-27 hockey season.
Church spent this past season with Saline High School in Michigan where he posted 16 goals and 26 assists totaling 42 points in 26 games played.
“Wyatt Church is another long, skilled, and super athletic defenseman for us,” Coach Jason Woods said. “We are really excited about his ability to skate with and without the puck. He is an excellent puck mover and joins a very talented group on the blue line this year!”
Wyatt brings size and a substantial offensive ability to the Power after a strong season of Michigan high school hockey. The tall defenseman showed an impressive ability to put the puck in the back of the net even from the blue line. This combination of size and offensive upside gives Power fans another exciting defenseman to root for this season.
“I chose to sign with the Power because I believe in the developmental side of things that goes into all of their operations,” Church said. “The way the coaches put development first and the winning culture instilled, I can’t wait to play in front of the electric atmosphere and bring a Fraser cup to West Bend.”
