The Power have another returner after signing forward Nico Piehl for the upcoming season. Piehl scored 5 goals and 9 assists in his rookie campaign along with 2 game winning goals, the most memorable one in an overtime shootout to beat the St. Louis Jr. Blues.
“Nico brings his skill set and work ethic back this year,” said Head Coach Nate Eminger. “He was one of our young guys last year and really found out what it takes to play at this level. While being young, Nico was a playmaker last season and I expect him to make big strides building off of last year.”
Piehl is the 7th forward the Power have signed as they continue to build depth up front. More signings coming as the Power have been busy filling out the back end.
