The Milwaukee Power have signed free agent forward Trent Van Gels of the CSDHL Affton Americans and Fort Zumwalt West High. Trent had his best high school season last year putting up eight goals and 17 assists for 25 points in 13 games.
“Trent brings youth to our roster along with speed and a strong sense of the game and is not afraid to play physical,” said Nate Eminger, Power Head Coach. “I look forward to seeing what Trent can accomplish this season as he makes the step to Junior’s.”
Milwaukee wants to improve in all three zones but as they say the best defense is a good offense and the Power have made a point to improve their offensive zone to limit turnovers and put up more points in a high powered division.
