The Power played its first two seasons at Wilson Ice Arena in Milwaukee, but due to COVID and related restrictions, the Power had to find a new home for the 2020-21 season.

“The disappointment on our departure from playing at Wilson Park this year has pivoted into an outstanding opportunity as we enter season three,” said Power General Manager Kevin Marion.    “Chris Donovan and the staff of OIC welcomed us with open arms and worked to fit our practices and games into their busy ice schedule. It’s critical to allow our players to perform at the highest level without restrictions. Having our players here in front of college coaches this season will increase potential D3 & ACHA opportunities as we work closely with Concordia University.”

“Unfortunately, with the COVID pandemic, Wilson Ice Arena was simply not an option for us this season with the regulations and restrictions in place,” added Chase Ernst, President of The Power. “Milwaukee County Parks and the entire Wilson Ice Arena staff have been invaluable to us during our first two seasons and I will be forever grateful to them in helping us launch the Power.”

Fans will be allowed in the stands, as the Power will be working with Ozaukee Ice staff to adhere to any attendance limitations according to health department requirements.

Tickets for the Power include: General Admission = $5, Steny’s Powerhouse = $20 (includes tap beer during the game), and Bolt Club Season Membership = $100 (admits up to 6 people/game for all 20 home games).  Youth hockey players are admitted free to any game when wearing their youth hockey jersey.

The Milwaukee Power is built to serve the most aspiring, dedicated, hard-working character-driven, coachable players looking to take their game to the next level.  The Power’s purpose is to expose players to the best fundamental & consistent coaching, instruction, training, advice & education inside the NA3HL.  Our emphasis will always be about player development & advancement inside the sport of hockey but ultimately preparing our players for the game of life.

“This is a very exciting transition for this organization,” said Head Coach Nate Eminger. “Our players will be playing in one of the best facilities in the Milwaukee area and on the same sheet of ice as the Concordia University Wisconsin’s Men’s and Women’s NCAA Division 3 programs.”

“For us to be playing in the same facility that houses NCAA and ACHA collegiate programs is truly a blessing for our organization and our players to be exposed to the next levels inside our sport,” added Ernst.
