Power Make Additions To Coaching Staff

Sep 4, 2019

The 10th NA3HL season is just days away and the Power have geared up for their 2nd season with additions to the coaching staff with a pair of Minnesotans in Kevin Marion and Nate Eminger.

Marion comes to the Power after coaching with Power GM and Head Coach Chase Ernst with the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals. A native of Hibbing, Minnesota, Marion played goalie at the NCAA D3 level at UW Stevens Point from 1988 to 1991. The program won 3 straight NCAA D3 National Championships and Marion was named an All-American in 1989-90 season. After college he played one season for the Columbus Chill in the ECHL and has since moved on to coaching in multiple positions and is currently the SHAW Youth Hockey Goalie Instructor.

Eminger hails from Crookston, Minnesota before moving to Green Bay to play at Bay Port High School. He played two seasons of Juniors in the MNJHL, one with the Edina Lakers and the other with the Marquette Royals where he helped backstop them to a Bush Cup Championship and a Tier 3 National Tournament appearance. Eminger attended Concordia University Wisconsin for his college hockey career with one season with the ACHA D2 team and 3 seasons on their NCAA D3 team. Eminger has coached for 6 years with Goalies Inc. and 2 years as a goalie consultant for Bay Port High School. He was also the youth hockey head coach for 1 year with Ozaukee.

These two additions to the Power staff bring not only a winning mindset but a Championship Pedigree at the Junior and College levels which will help develop the Power roster moving forward in their Junior and College careers.
