The Power have officially signed forward Ivan Bilyy for the 2018-19 season. Bilyy is from the Ukraine but has been playing hockey in the US for the past 5 years. Last season he played in 49 games while scoring 21 goals and 20 assists for the Fountain Valley School of Colorado. Vice President of Hockey Ops Chase Ernst had this to say, "Our Hockey Operations staff saw Ivan participating in the Janesville Jets Tryout Camp. We knew immediately Ivan was a quality player, with good offensive abilities, size & hockey IQ. What we didn't know then but we do now was the character, integrity & maturity he possesses is second to no one. His desire to be ALL-IN to our Milwaukee Power organization is exactly the type of mentality & commitment we are looking for in our players. I'm expecting good things from him this season." Bilyy is the third signing for the Power as they head into their inaugural season and joins the Power's other two forward signings in Mason Evans and Maris Graudins. With these three forwards the Power are showing the signs of having a core in place and look to continue to add more pieces with their main try-out camp just 15 days away.
