The Power make 2 great additions to staff with Katherine Adamek as Strength/Conditioning Performance Coach and Nolan Yonkman as a Player Development Consultant. Both bring impressive resumes.

Katherine Adamek is a 2xOlympic Medalist, World Champion, and American Record Holder in the sport of short track speedskating. She uses her background in strength, conditioning, skating, and yoga to write innovative training programs designed to improve performance. Using a holistic approach to training, Katherine combines the art of mental toughness with the science of high-performance to help athletes live, train, and compete at their best. She is also the Director of Performance Edge, part of the Scorer’s Edge Development Group, a locally owned company that provides training to hockey players of all ages - on and off the ice – in order to prepare them for success at the next level. Performance Edge follows a comprehensive long-term athletic development model that is specific and appropriate to each athlete’s age, ability, and experience.

Nolan Yonkman was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1999 NHL draft with pick 37 by the Washington Capitals. He has played in the NHL, AHL, and Liiga accumulating over 1000 pro games. Yonkman is no stranger to Milwaukee as he played 4 seasons for the Milwaukee Admirals and was the team's Captain for 2 seasons and an Assistant Captain for 2 more. His leadership abilities were recognized as he served as a Captain for 6 seasons and an Assistant for another 3 seasons inside the AHL. Yonkman knows what it takes to win a championship from when he was part of the SM Liiga JYP team that were crowned the Champions of the Champions Hockey League in 2018. The Native of Punnichy, Saskatchewan calls Milwaukee his 2nd home coming back in the offseason over last 10 years for great training on and off ice to keep developing his game. He finds it has been beneficial and enjoys living in Wisconsin in the summer along with the city and the atmosphere. As a Player Development Consultant Yonkman helps develop individual along with team aspects of the game on ice as well as the game within the game. He works to help players understand the dynamics of team outside of just skill work while working on their individual skills and structure within a team. Yonkman adds another prospective to the coaching staff from a professional's level. " I am proud to be part of the Power and I want to continue developing hockey in the Milwaukee area at all levels," said Yonkman.

The Power strives to build the best structure around the players for success and has taken 2 more steps in the right direction with these two great additions to the staff.
