The Milwaukee Power are proud to announce the commitment of forward Tyler Nelson to Waldorf University’s ACHA D1 program. Nelson came to Milwaukee as a free agent last summer and became an impact player.
“Nelson was a vital part to our offense last season,” said Head Coach Nate Eminger. “His speed and shifty hands will be a major asset to Waldorf. We wish him the best of luck at the next level.”
In his loan season in the NA3HL, Nelson put up 10 goals and 28 assists for 38 total points. Nelson also represented Milwaukee at the NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament where he had three assists in two games. He was also voted the Power’s MVP by his teammates.
“I would like to thank the Power organization and staff for everything they have done this past season to help me with this opportunity,” said Nelson. “I am looking forward to the next phase of my hockey career.”
