Milwaukee Trades With Long Beach

Aug 2, 2021

The Milwaukee Power have completed a trade with the Long Beach Sharks. Milwaukee acquires a tender and Long Beach receives the rights to three year veteran forward Brady Rossbach.

Brady, a product of the SHAW youth organization, has been with the Power since their inception back in 2018 and holds two team records with 130 games played and a streak 117 games played. No small feat in the sport of hockey with the physicality and demands put on a players body. Both records may never be broken as it would take nearly 3 seasons to best. Rossbach also stands at fifth overall in Milwaukee’s career points with 52.

“I have enjoyed playing for the Power since their inaugural season and proudly wore the letter A as one of their chosen leaders for two of the three seasons,” said Brady. “A special thanks to Chase Ernst for my start in Junior hockey along with everything he has taught me about growing as a hockey player and as a person. I have made life long friendships with my teammates from all around the US and Europe. Looking ahead, I will take many memories and lessons with me as I continue my hockey career and I wish the Power success in the upcoming seasons.”

Brady’s role grew greatly in his second season in Milwaukee as he not only moved to center and saw large increase in playing time but played a major role on the penalty kill unit. He also had a way of finishing out the home schedule for the Power as he recorded a hat-trick in the Power’s last home game each of the past two seasons.

“First off I would like to thank Brady for all of his hard work, effort, and passion that he has put in to the Power these past three seasons,” said Chase Ernst, CEO/President of Local Hockey Partners. “He is the epitome of our Power Signature and why we brought Junior hockey to the city of Milwaukee. I am extremely proud of his growth from being the youngest kid on our roster to becoming one of our captains. We wish him nothing but the best as he continues on in his hockey journey.”
