To further develop and increase exposure for our Milwaukee area players, the Power has kicked off The Milwaukee Jr. Power Spring Development & Showcase Program. The 2022 Jr. Power players will participate in a total of more than 22 practices and 3 spring tournaments.
We’ve performed well at the tournaments we’ve participated in so far, but more importantly, our players have developed, which is what this program is all about,” said Milwaukee Power Director of Player Development Matt Roadhouse.
“The Jr. Power program offers complete training for our players, including high-end on-ice skill and concept work with position-specific coaching, off-ice strength and conditioning, video sessions and expert speakers,” added Roadhouse. This is a great opportunity for local talent to work with our staff and for us to learn their skill set as they prepare to enter the junior ranks and possibly play for the Milwaukee Power.”
The Jr. Power coaching staff includes Wisconsin Hall of Fame Coach Cal Roadhouse; NA3HL Milwaukee Power Head Coach, Assistant General Manager & former Wisconsin Badger John Mitchell; Milwaukee Power Director of Player Development Matt Roadhouse; USM Coach Justin Thundercloud; and Muskego Ice Force Coach Jeff Reinke, along with others.
