Former USPHL Goaltender Signs With The Power

Aug 13, 2018

The Power signed another netminder Friday evening in Matt Bilsborough from Cedarburg, Wisconsin.

Bilsborough comes to the Power after being battle tested in the USPHL-Elite league last season playing for the Boston Jr. Bandits. He played in 11 games having a goals-against-average of 2.26 with a record of 9 wins, 2 losses, and produced 4 shutout performances.

“Matt's play last season truly defined him as a top-end Junior goalie with NCAA potential. Since June he has expressed interest in coming home to be part of our Power organizations inaugural season. Even though it took a couple months, the pieces finally fell into place to make this signing happen. Matt brings a tremendous work-ethic, commitment to development and a team-first mentality.I am very excited to add a veteran player with his character and demeanor to our roster this upcoming season,” said Chase Ernst, Vice President of Hockey Operations.

With signing Bilsborough the Power get another piece closer to building out the roster as the Power have now signed 10 players. Still plenty more to do as the season opener is 25 days out but the Power staff will continue to work at it.

Stay tuned as Bilsborough's video interview will be coming in the next couple of days on Power TV and more signings coming as well.
