The Power have signed defenseman Ryan Payne after he attended the Try-Out Camp this past weekend. Payne played last season for the Chicago Fury AAA U18 where he appeared in 35 games with 4 goals and 10 assists for 14 points. "Ryan Payne is in an excellent, hard-nosed, gritty, and tough defenseman who has Tier 1 AAA pedigree coming from a tremendous AAA program in the Chicago Fury that is one of the best in the country. Ryan has the ability to anchor our defensive core and I can't wait to get him on the ice for the fans in Milwaukee to see. He embodies exactly the persona and the characteristics of what a Power player is because he is blue collar and straight to the point," said Chase Ernst, Vice President of Hockey Operations. Payne joins fellow blue-liner Jake Berry as the Power's pieces on the defensive side and the Power are looking to add more. The number of Power players under contract moves up to nine with a 10th being announced this upcoming Monday.
