Power extends winning streak, remains undefeated at home

Nov 30, 2025

The Rochester Grizzlies traveled to West Bend in what was scheduled to be a two-game series, but mother nature had other plans, and they headed back home Friday to beat the storm after the Power defeated the visitors on Friday 5-2. The Power improved to 19-2-0-1 with 39 points in first place in the Central Division and extended their winning streak to 13 games, staying undefeated on home ice at Kettle Moraine Ice Center.  A make-up date for Saturday’s game and SKATE WITH THE POWER will be announced when scheduled.

Friday’s game started with the Grizzlies taking the early lead when Ole Fevold scored at 17:10. Wyatt Emmett responded for the Power with his 6th goal of the season at 15:34 off assists from Elias Holan (3) and Elijah Covey (5).  Jackson Hoem (6) gave the Power the lead with a power play goal at 7:07 off assists from Michael Maillette (5) and Brody Josselyn (10) for a Power 2-1 lead after the first period.  Rochester got on the board with a power play goal at 13:52 of the second period. The Power had several chances on back-to-back 5 on 3 power plays, and it was Brody Josselyn who was able to capitalize with 44 seconds remaining in the period for the 3-2 Power lead after two periods of play.  Josseyln was assisted by Danny Jurcich (21) and Maillette (6).  Jace Fitzgerald scored the Power’s fourth goal, his 17th of the season at 14:07 of the third period off assists from Adam Sexton (9) and Blake Kohnen (17), and Michael Maillette (7) took advantage of a Grizzlies turnover for an empty net goal at 1:04 to seal the victory.  Peter Burke earned the victory in the Power net.  Burke and Ben Glaesman combined to stop 26/28 Grizzlies shots on goal. The Power had 29 shots on goal.

The Palermo’s Screamin’ Sicilan Three Stars of the game were third star Michael Maillette, second star Elijah Covey and first start Brody Josselyn. The Versi-foam Hard Hat Hardest Worker of the Game was Shaun Paulson.

The Culligan Water of West Bend Power Player of the Weekend is Michael Maillette.
