The Power welcomes the St. Louis Jr. Blues to Kettle Moraine Ice Center for the first meeting between the two teams this season for a Friday and Saturday match up. This weekend is Military Appreciation Weekend sponsored by Game Day Men’s Health where all military and veterans will be admitted free and recognized at each game. The Power will be wearing red, white and blue custom jerseys representing Stars and Strips Honor Flight and Camp Hometown Heroes. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the weekend with proceeds benefitting both organizations. You can bid on the jerseys through Sunday, 11/10 here.
The Power is 9-4-1-0 and currently sits in third place in the Central Division with 19 points. The St. Louis Jr. Blues are 6-7-2-0 in fifth place in the Central Division. The Power is coming off a sweep of the Peoria Mustangs and the Jr. Blues are coming off consecutive losses to the Wisconsin Woodsmen.
The St. Louis Jr. Blues are led in scoring by Eric Denny with 14 points and Joseph LoPiccolo with 11 points. The Jr. Blues spit goaltending duties between three players, including former Power Brooks Barofsky. The Power is led in scoring by Jackson Hoem with 19 points, and Teagan Scheurer and Jace Fitzgerald with 13 points each.
“We’re looking to carry over our momentum from the last couple weeks. We’re coming together well as a team and just need to continue to improve each week. We’re excited to honor our military this weekend on home ice wearing jerseys to represent them,” said Associate Head Coach/GM Jeremy Ebert.
Both games are at 7:30pm at Kettle Moraine Ice Center and will be broadcast on NA TV.
The Great Outdoors Supper Club will be offering pre-game meals both nights. Friday is Fish Fry night (2 pieces $12, 3 pieces $15) and Saturday is Baked Potato Bar night ($12 for giant loaded baked potato). Food and beverage service begin at 5:00pm
