WEEKEND PREVIEW – POWER AT ST. LOUIS
The Power travels to St. Louis this weekend for a two-game match up against the Jr. Blues at Afton Ice Arena.
Both teams enter the weekend 0-2 as the Power was swept by a tough Mustangs club in Peoria and St. Louis dropped two to the Rochester Grizzlies.
Patrick Toomey and Bryce Garber tallied the Power’s lone goals last weekend. Joey Demiglio and Max Mudge assisted Toomey’s goal.
The Power needs to focus on playing disciplined hockey, as penalties proved to be a difference maker in last weekend’s losses in Peoria. The Power knows it’s important to grab 4 points early in the season on the road, so in addition to playing disciplined hockey, the Power will look to prevail on the both the offensive and defensive sides of the ice. It is imperative the Power shows up ready to perform, as they will be facing a young, talented and energetic Jr. Blues club in St. Louis.
Game times are 3:30 Saturday and 11:00 Sunday. Both games will be broadcast on Hockey TV.
