The Milwaukee Power, of the NA3HL, are proud to announce that Garrett Alton has committed to play college hockey for Finlandia University NCAA DIII. Alton joined the Power via trade in the 2018-19 season and is the longest serving captain for Milwaukee having donned the “C” the past two seasons.
“We are extremely proud of Garrett and what he has been able to accomplish during his time with the Power,” said Head Coach Nate Eminger. “He has been a vital part to helping us build Junior hockey in Milwaukee through his leadership both on and off the ice.”
Alton finishes his Power career 3rd overall in: games played (83), goals (26), assists (37), and points (63). He was the teams MVP for the 2019-20 season and voted by his teammates for the Power’s Leadership Award for the 2020-21 season.
“I am excited for the opportunity to continue my career playing NCAA hockey,” said Alton. “I would like to thank everyone that has helped to get me this far from my teammates, the staff, and especially my family.”
