The Power have signed Canadian defenseman Riley Austin for the upcoming season. Austin played for the Cold Lake Hornets last season in the Western States Hockey League (WSHL) registering 1 goal and 12 assists in 43 games.
“Riley will bring his knowledge from his prior Junior experience to our blue line and I expect him to be an instant leader for our organization,” said Head Coach Nate Eminger. “Being a smart stay at home defenseman with bursts of his offense he will be a player to watch this season.”
Austin is the third defenseman the Power have signed as they continue to solidify their blue line core.
